Labor Day is a time to honor the contributions of American workers, the men and women whose dedication has built our economy, strengthened our communities, and shaped the nation we know today. Since becoming a national holiday in 1894, the first Monday in September has stood as a reminder of the progress we’ve made through the hard work and perseverance of the American workforce.

Beyond its history, here are a few fun Labor Day facts:

  • 🌭 It Marks The End of Peak Hot Dog Season – Believe it or not, Americans consume about 7 billion hot dogs between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

  • 🍔 Cookout Favorite – Labor Day is the third most popular grilling day, just behind Memorial Day and the 4th of July.

  • 👗 “No White After Labor Day” Rule – You've heard it, right? Once a strict fashion guideline dating back to turn-of-the-century dress codes, this old rule has faded. Today, most people wear white year-round without a second thought.

At its core, Labor Day is about recognizing the many achievements of America’s workforce, achievements that continue to fuel our country’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. In that same spirit of recognition and partnership, we want to take a moment to remind you of how we work with our valued real estate partners:

  • We are a Property Management Company only.

  • We do not have in-house agents.

  • We do not compete with you.

  • We will not take your clients.

  • We do not represent buyers or sellers.

Our focus is solely on managing vacation rental properties for current owners. And if or when one of those owners decides to sell, we gladly refer them back to you, the agent.

This Labor Day, as we celebrate the contributions of hardworking Americans, we also celebrate the partnerships we share with you and all we have achieved together.
